First Steps
- Punch trees to collect
Wood Logs - Open inventory (E) and craft logs into
Wood Planks - Craft planks into
Sticks - Mine
Stone and
Coal from the ground - Build a
Furnace (8 stone) to smelt ores - Mine
copper,
iron, and other ores - Progress through the tech tree to build machines
- Set up
power generation for advanced machines - Build rocket parts with the
3D Printer - Construct your
rocket and launch into space!
Coal + 1
Stick = 4 Torches.
Power Generation
Many advanced machines require electrical power to operate. You must set up a complete power generation system to use them.
Power System Overview
Complete Power Chain
Setting Up Power (Step by Step)
- Place Hydro Generator on Water - The hydro generator must be placed on top of water to function. Find a lake or ocean and place it on the water's surface.
- Connect Copper Pipes - Run copper pipes from the hydro generator to your steam engine. Pipes carry steam from the water source.
- Place Steam Engine - Position your steam engine near your base. Connect it to the pipes from the hydro generator.
- Fuel the Steam Engine - Right-click the steam engine and add coal as fuel. The engine will consume coal to generate electricity.
- Run Cables to Appliances - Use cables to connect the steam engine to your powered machines. Cables can be placed on any surface.
- Hydro Generator is placed on top of water
- Copper pipes connect hydro generator to steam engine
- Steam Engine has coal fuel
- Cables connect steam engine to appliances
Machines That Require Power
The following machines will only function when connected to a powered steam engine via cables:
Electric Furnace
Smelts ores 5x faster with 2x yield. Required for Lithium and Cobalt.
POWER REQUIRED
3D Printer
Prints rocket parts and launch pad components.
POWER REQUIRED
Electronics Workbench
Crafts CPUs, RAM, motherboards and other electronics.
POWER REQUIRED
Computer
Advanced computing and automation.

Building Rockets
To launch into space, you need to build a complete rocket on a launch pad. All rocket parts are created using the 3D Printer.
Required Components
Launch Pad (7 blocks)
Launch Tower (1 segment)
Rocket Engine
Fuel Tank(s)
Command Module
Assembly Order
- Build a hexagonal launch pad (7 blocks in flower pattern - 1 center + 6 surrounding)
- Place launch tower segment adjacent to the pad
- Place the rocket engine on the center pad block
- Stack fuel tanks on top of the engine (more tanks = more fuel)
- Place command module on top of the stack
- Right-click the rocket to board and launch!
Flight Controls
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| WASD | Rotate (Pitch/Yaw) |
| Q / E | Roll left/right |
| Arrows | Strafe in any direction |
| Space | Main thrust (go up) |
| C | Descend (fire top thrusters) |
| Z / X | Decrease/Increase throttle |
| V | Exit rocket (when landed) |
Crafting Recipes
Open your inventory (E) to access the crafting grid. Place items in the grid to craft.
